Meet Ipswich’s three newest Junior Firefighters! Felix, Izzy and Theo suited up for a ride to school at Winthrop Elementary School on Wednesday. “The loved it so much!”, says Theo and Felix’s mom, Kimberly Mavroi. “They can’t stop talking about it.”
The ride to and from school, as well as a ride to school for a Doyon Elementary student, was donated by the IFD to Friends of Ipswich Elementary Schools (FRIES) for their annual silent auction.
Mason and Michaela Dos Santos, the winners of the ride to and from the Doyon School, were chauffeured the previous week. Their mother Shawna was also enthusiastic. “This was an unbelievable experience for the kids- priceless. This auction item is something that we hope happens again for any events our schools have with an auction. ”
